Jeewan Mendis retires from international cricket

has announced his retirement from international cricket on Monday.

The 38-year right arm leg spinner and left hand batter has played 58 ODI’s scoring 636 runs taking 28 wickets in 22 T-20’s in his International career. He also got chance to play two World Cups in 2015 and 2019. His ODI debut against Zimbabawe in 2010 while ended with 2019 World Cup game against South Africa at Chester le Street in England in June 28 in 2019 .
