Ruchira Palliyaguruge to officiate in ICC Women’s Cricket WC

Sri Lanka’s ICC international panel umpire Ruchira Palliyaguruge has been included in the 12-member umpires panel announced by the International Cricket Council for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand from 4 March to 3 April.

The panel of 12 includes eight women umpires.ICC Senior Manager – Umpires and Referees Adrian Griffith said the appointments were part of ICC’s policy of nurturing the best available talent in different countries.
