Well I don’t agree with you giving Mendis’ s place to Kamindu M. Kamindu is a very poor fielder dropping catches & has not grabbed opportunities given to him before except that one innings. The same can be said about Oshada.We have to look beyond those two. A main reason I see for this debacle is scheduling these two Tests immediately after the one dayers in Zimbabwe. Most batsmen, Dimuth, Mendis, Sadeera & DDs were in one day mould. The board sacrificed these two Tests I think to play the LPL. Otherwise there should have been some three day/four day games at home for these batters before the Tests. Other important step is to remove the reluctant captain from his post because he has no responsibility now. He is above reproach now because he would say ,did n’t I say I want to quit.DDS as captain & retain the same team but give them adequate practice & time playing 3/4 day games when switching from one day games to Tests.
