You got some valid points there. Shami and Ishant have more upright actions but Bumrah who was the match winner in Australia isnt really your hit the seam bowler. That’s why I feel Lakmal, Pradeep and Kumara would be a better attack if they can maintain pressure for prolongued spells. Don’t forget they had NZ 6 down for 60 odd on a green top and got them bowled out for 170. So I dont see any major worries there. They got the pace and they move the ball.

If this team did beat India in champions trophy in England quite comprehensively, won in Australia and South Africa in t20s, there is no reason why they can play consistently good cricket.

How unfair it is for a bowler to go through this when there are other suspected bowlers who have not been tested? ICC has some serious questions to answer in terms of fair play for every nation and player
