At least that would be the bare minimum which send the right message. But then fact that they haven’t responded yet is an indication of the path to be taken I suppose. Utterly disappointing and you are right wish someone like Arjuna was at the helm though i disagree with some of his views
True enough. But they are well on the verge of doing it
True enough. What I said was in comparison to ODI career his exploits seem insignificant. I remember the SA test you mentioned. That was a cracker of an innings and also in bowling he was more than useful. But obviously not used much in test cricket. As you said facing those bowlers was no mean achievement
Very true..agreed to the core. Low scoring tests were at thrill. I can remember the Aussie game in 2004 but cant remember another close loss.the wicket was sporting to put it in perspective. Unfortunately I do not know much about Ravi Ratnayake but the sight screen story is interesting. First time I have heard that. Good one
Exactly the point. Cant agree more with you. I think a lot of facts have been misinterpreted and complicated by recall Bias. When looking at it practically none of these make much of a sense
Agreed Aussies were far superior and lot of things had to go our way to have a chance. 2011 was different. India was vulnerable but had built momentum in knock outs with tough wins whereas we breezed through. That too made a difference. Were went battle hardened and also made the blunder of playing into their strengths
Thanks alot. Sure will give It a try soon.
Cheers. Great to hear
Exactly we were blessed with such players may be one generation too early. That team would have survived without those but if such players were here now it would have made a massive difference
Agreed..exactly that was definitely a high. And we had to do a lot of catching up to beat Australia and nothing went well for us from the start. Anyways it was a good campaign overall
