Don’t they remember what sanath did for country when he was playing… Will we get a player like him anymore ? specially hope you can remember how he hammered the Indian bowlers those days. Pusswedilla and his team could be born in an english speeking families… they grew in that society, but sanath is someone from a rural area and he never wanted to learn english unless he is becoming a player in sri lanka cricket team.

Mistaking something in english is not the one we have to be shame, if we can’t speak sinhala properly as a sri lankan, that’s what we should be shame of.

I think puswedilla and his team should have not criticize these specially in a cricket awards ceremony, And sanath also should not get angry because of this , as i said there’s no shame if we mistake something in english, but he should have not done commentary if he feels he is not the one for it.

I’m wonder those peoples who are criticizing this as lik this is the the world’s biggest mistake do know the everything in english ??

if those people played any kind of cricket before they will never tell those things, because players knows how difficult it is that not getting any good result though they put their 100% commitments. every day a player cant perform well, if it is when we playing @ backyard we could have get runs every day and get wickets everyday…

Yes he is playing in IPL, BBL as well, so we have to be very happy, because sri lankan guy is earning lots of money from other countries.. it’s same as someone working abroad or someone working to a foreign company in sri lanka. so why always people blaming to those things only in cricket.

If then why all the people who working in abroad for foreign companies are not coming to sri lanka and work in srilankan owned companies ????

It can be a problem if he refuse to play for srilanka in any format and playing for other countries’ leagues, he just quit only test matches, and that’s fair enough as he cannot get a risk by playing test matches, as t20 matches are only have to ball 4 overs, that’s not affecting him much.

Time to change the way some srilankans are thinking… i think most of them are in jealous that they did not get much fortune like Malinga
