kusal must be benched. He doesnt deserve to open. Upul thanraga’s experience is needed. that being said Mahela opening with dilshan would be a good thing too. WE ALL KNOW THAT SANGA will not give up his position ( but who cares, hes getting runs so no problem there)

yes you are correct about chandimal and thriumane batting down the order and they are great players. chandimal has the power we are looking and Thriumane does his part but at a very very slow pace. I dont no if you have noticed but sanga usually takes his time to settle in but recently he’s be firing since he start batting. At the current stage of SL cricket we need players that can bat long innings and score big.

Other thing is if you notice SL recents records if the seniors play well we usually only lose 2-3 wickets but when they fail somehow the rest of the team fails as well and we end up with a game with 8-9 wickets down.

I wont deny that he has that
I wont deny that he has that consistency problem partially because of use of 2 new ball at the start. but There are other members in the team that are not just contributing.

I just find it out that Upul tharanga is being left out for majority of the tours this year? Why ? he is a good player I mean he certainly has better stats than thirumane. I mean come one these young players had their chances and you keep them and because tharanga didn’t show lil consistency you remove him from 2 tours doesn’t sound fair to me
