Sri Lankan batsmen have struggled against all spin for sometime now. It’s not like the glory days when most of the batsmen could pick and read the spinners out of the hand. They seem to be relying on the pitch.

For example Sanga, Mahela and Tharanga have had shocking WC campaigns once each that cost the side. But then they have had multiple ones that has done opposite.

SL need to be careful there is not many T20I played and qualifications for future WT20s have changed to allow more teams in which is a good thing. But SL may find other nations leaping ahead and them missing out!
