@sachi-You forgot to mention how he has got everything right about the IPL! 1st of all, IPL is a private tournament! If you agree with players picking the IPL is better over playing for your country, shows your love for the country! He said we would lose to bangladesh in the near future, and we did! Our cricket has been going downhill, and it has! He said all this 5-6 years ago, and now its all coming true! Get your facts right, then talk! 🙂

He was “sacked” because he was trying to get corruption out and sort everything out in the board.. Players picked going to play the IPL over the cricket tour to England in 2008 as I remember.. He said how IPL will destroy our cricket, and it certainly has after 4 years! Everything he has said, has happened! Its about playing for the country 1st! Thats always should be number 1. Look at Australia, they play Bangladesh and then only go to play the IPL. Thats what he’s been saying! Country over anything!

About Nishantha bappi, well, Thaththi has come and accused the cricket board, argued about cricket against him in Derana as I remember and saying how the board is not doing it right.. And what Thaththi says about Malinga or anyone, its that they have picked money over playing for cricket.. If thats the case, then, why do we give him a A class contract? Might as well give like a contract Prasanna and Thilan gets right? The board doesn’t have a backbone to stand up for the players, and people say “why is politics involved in cricket?”.. They seem to forget how the players went and complained to the president in 2008 and told him they want to play the IPL instead of the English tour! People seem to forget that!
