They should prepare a fast track, a green bouncy pitch. That’s where they can exploit the competitive advantage. They are much stronger in pace bowling and SL pace attack is much inexperience. SL batting line up play with ease against spin and is not much comfortable with pace attacks on green bouncy pitches. On the other hand if they go for spin friendly track they should keep in mind that SL too has a world class spinner who resides upper than Ajmal in world rankings and Herath’s record for last two matches is far better than Ajmal’s one.
