Jayawardane confirmed writer’s view when he made 44 next match in the same coorect batting style as the century (no paddle or reverse strokes that often got Jayawardane’s wicket when he bats down the order to score fast as he is no slugger). SL might do well with a slugger coming down the order at 6 or 7 & if Jayasuriya has to play in the West Indies that is where he should be chanced & with his bowling, fielding & fitness it may not be much of a lost to the team to try that before he leaves cricket for good and enter politics.
