  • I believe Dasun is better captain than Malinga. Malinga is a legendary bowler but not a good leader. SL cricket should convince Malinga to play under Shanaka. I choose the following squad for India tour.

  • Malinga continues to make players together under his leadership. It’s very clear that he is not great in captaincy. He is a legendary bowler but poor captain. He owns a place in the team as a bowler not a captain. He needs to agree to play under someone rather than demanding be a captain.

  • I personally prefer to appoint Dasun Shanaka as permanent T20I captain. He was an outstanding as a leader.

    Note: SL cricket should convince Lasith Malinga to play under Dasun in the future. His captaincy is not that great. He just believes in himself only but Dasun had brought the best out of everyone this is the difference in the captaincy between Shanaka and Malinga. Angelo Mathews and Lasith Malinga should be considered in the T20I selection after the Australia tour.
