  • Very difficult to select
    Very difficult to select partner for Dhananjaya. Because, Avishka done better in under 19 as well as Dickwella done better in A team. Therefore, as far as experience concern I’ll go with Dickwella. But it’s very unfair to Avishka to give one game and judge him his abilities from that. But he has more time. Therefore, I’ll go with Dickwella.

  • Finally, selectors have
    Finally, selectors have selected some kind of good players. I suppose Dasun Shanaka should deserve a place in the team than any other. He’s talented player and he’s the best alternative for Mathews. Thisara, Prasnna, Angelo Perera, Lakmal don’t deserve a place even in the squad. There are more better players than them which they gave lot of chances but no one grabbed.

    I’m not including Thisara and Jeewan even to the squad. Because they can’t bat nor ball. Thiri & Dilshan is good option to the Open the inning and no any other option at the moment.Sanga,Mahela like to play their positions.Tharanga and Kusal batted well those positions past and they can hit the ball hard as well as build the inning.One of KulaSeekku as per the condition. Others should be genuine bowlers. Therefor my team is included 6 genuine batmen and 4 genuine bowlers and other one can be bowler or batsman or all-rounder as per the match situation.
