The 3rd ODI should be Kapugedara’s last ODI with Sri Lanka, as he is too old, given too many chances and has failed (Average in ODI: 22 in 101 ODI matches and low strike rate) and young players should be groomed into the team who are fearless and capable of producing results for the team. Chamara Kapugedara should only be given another chance in Internation T20s, not ODIs nor Tests.

Dhananjaya De Silva is continuously failing in both Tests and ODIs, if he is to perform well he needs to be a regular player in the team

Lasith Malinga is treated unfairly and poorly by the Sri Lankan Cricket Board and the Sports Minister. Otherwise, the team is filled with young and experienced players.
