This is an incredibly bold squad and will be nice to see Sri Lanka Cricket try a different mix but Kusal Mendis not playing is unlikely as he is vice-captain aside from that other changes to this squad that can be made is Kasun Rajitha in for Pramod Madushan, Dunith Wellalaga in for Dushan Hemantha though it is risky to play without a legspinner, and Kusal Perera in for Charith Asalanka due to his experience. I believe Mickey is a good coach. We need to be patient and results will show definitely. Mickey might have not lead us to multiple series wins but a he has surely changed the team culture. Both these points are very good but we should not forget the fact that Lahiru Kumara is young, he is only 24 years old plus he is learning very match. In the second T20I against Oman, he bowled another very good economic spell and picked up two wickets bowling the yorker. Another thing to consider is the role of Kumara in the team, his role is to bowl fast hard length deliveries and push the batter on the back foot and build pressure. Kumara is still young, fit, fast, and talent and it’s scary to imagine the level at which Kumara will bowl when he reaches the peak of his career at 27 or so and if Kumara will work closely with Vaas Aiya, he will truly become a top class fast bowler just look at what Vaas Aiya was able to do with Chameera.

This is a beautiful jersey. The home jersey is really great. I love the different shades of blue in the jersey plus the lion and multiple lines offer the jersey some flare. The away jersey is traditionally Sri Lanka with the yellow and blue incorporated into the jersey. Great design 👍
