Agree with both choices actually, Chandimal has led at other levels with success, starting from school level and it is good to build him up as a leader as well since with Mathews’ injury record something tells me he will have to stand in as skipper more than a regular VC. No problems with PJ being phased out too, we need to look to the future and there are many young WK bats out there, Kithruwan and Kushal in the squad and Dickwella in the wings as well.

Player Agents have been
Player Agents have been involved in player politics from what is widely known but Hilal has a point, Also far as I know the Players Association in SL, doesn’t really have the organizational ability or have the power to take on the Administration as much as say the Aus Cricketers Association so the Agents have a major role to play in lobbying on the player’s behalf, specially since SLC is one of the boards which treats its players the worst unfortunately.

A lot of criticism for his appointment but I can’t see how he can be much worse than the utter retards we have had in previous committees. Whenever Sanath speaks atleast we can still see his passion for SL cricket which is more than can be said for the usual allowance-leechers who inhabit the committees. Lets give him a chance and see without condemning him before he has had his first meeting even, its the very least he deserves.
