RIP SLC….
RIP SLC….
@sunny yeah.when ford was
@sunny yeah.when ford was there we didn’t win consistently.but atleast won the teams which were ranked below us and we were searching for players in the most part of his stay.just when we found enough talents someone from australia came here and influenced him.it resulted in defeats to bangladesh and now zimbabwe at HOME.the next thing is when upul cameback to the team most of you guys commented to drop him but did he shut your mouth up or not?now you guys are supporting him and commenting that chandimal should be dropped.when KJP came you did the same but he found some form after some matches but unfortunately got injured.akila cameback to the team,struggled at the start then picked up a four fer in the next.and where is suranga lakmal?why didn’t they select him?he was bowling well specially in the last couple of months?I’m not telling the youngsters are not tallented but I’m telling SL need a balanced team with experienced and young players.why don’t you recall players like jeewan mendis and give them a chance just to see if they can do sometging for the team?and if you think dropping the senior players and giving youngsters is the only way then SL will be in the same position where WI are currently seated.
yeah…it was coming…axed
yeah…it was coming…axed ford,dropped senior players & now paid the price.Dn’t know where the future of SLC is heading to.
i think you didn’t know that
i think you didn’t know that fast bowlers were not allowed to bowl in the last 9 ovrs of the match due to bad light.
giving youngsters a chance is
giving youngsters a chance is a good thing but I think SLC is trying too much of them & this was not the time to try youngsters when your team is struggling for victories.SLC have found enough talents & now it’s time to tune them rather than dropping them after one match & searching for anotherone.
Blaming the SL openers means
Blaming the SL openers means you are brain faded…they set the platform for a 350+ score but the middle order was not able to carry the momentum till the end.yes,Zimbabwe batted well but they lost their 6 wkts within 30 overs & what would have happened if there was no rain.It’s a different mindset while chasing.Zimbabwe batters went hard bcoz they knew the rain was coming and they were needed to score quicker.think before blaming someone.
Waiting for 01/01/2018 to
Waiting for 01/01/2018 to come…Let’s hope we can have a good selection committee…and yes,sandakan was expensive but mathews didn’t have any other spinning options as dhanushka is a part timer as well.so blaming him here is not a good thing.
All right.the idea to bring
All right.the idea to bring back chandi & thiri is a good one.but if you bring them back then you will be in a situation to drop atleast two of those players who were mentioned in the last para.according to your team there will be 3 frontline bowlers.other than that only asela & dhanushka can bowl as mathews is unable to do some bowling.so eventhough dhanushka is a part timer you have to give him bowl his full quota as their is no other bowling options.this can hurt our bowling.that means you have to drop those players like dikka/kusal/mendis.So I think it’s already too late as those players have sealed their spots in the team.only where thiri & chandi can comeback is in test matches.
