Cricket Elections to be held via Zoom on May 20

“The Inter-Provincial travel restriction will not affect the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) elections as it will be held as scheduled on May 20,” Ministry of Sports Director General (DG) Amal Edirisooriya told the Daily News yesterday.

The Ministry of Sports DG who is the Authority for sport election bodies further said that there is no secret ballot system for the cricket elections and it’s a normal open voting system (hands up) and we have already decided to hold the cricket elections through zoom.
