Dambulla Giants beat Kandy Warriors by 20 runs

Two experienced bowlers Nuwan Pradeep and Ramesh Mendis took three wickets each as Dambulla Giants recorded 20 runs win over Kandy Warriors in their LPL cricket fixture played at R.Premadaa International cricket stadium yesterday.

Kandy Warriors chasing their target of 191 runs were struggling at 28 for 3 wickets at one stage but finally managed to get 170 for 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Skipper Angelo Perera 24 in 22 balls and Kamindu Mendis 17 in 18 balls added 42 runs fourth wicket stand to repair their Innings.
