I think Chamika should bat after Bhanuka at no 6. Although he is classified as a bowling all rounder he has improved his batting, performance consistency and power hitting abilities immensely during the last few months. Even better than of Dasun. So first of all his classification should be changed to an all rounder (as Dasun). I know very soon he will convert this to a Genuine All rounder category. Whole world has a handful of genuine all rounders. Why a bowling rounder like Wanindu was promoted to no 5. It is a foolish decision. Until Wanindu improves his batting a lot he should not be promoted. His most suitable position has to be no 8 (after Dasun) at the moment. I am surprised why Mahela missed this tactical point.
I partly agree with you Sir. I think that the number 6 position should be flexible, depending on the situation of the game. If we are 4 down within the powerplay or 10 overs, we should go with Dasun because of his experience, so he can rebuild the innings. But if we need to gain a bit of momentum and we have a solid base, we can promote Chamika up the order, even to number 5 or above if we are doing really well and we need a good finish. This is my humble opinion.
